Giulia Gandini wins silver at the YDA
We’ve got the champagne and bunting out here at Snapper because Giulia Gandini has won silver at the YDA at Cannes for her brilliantly bold short film, My Time. A story of female empowerment, My Time is an epic classroom-based odyssey of a young girl’s journey towards self-acceptance and an accurate, poignant portrayal of the stigma that surrounds menstruation. Giulia’s films are all about changing attitudes, never failing to capture her audience, and up against some extremely tough competition at the YDA, My Time stood out. We’re terrifically proud… let’s hear it for Giulia!
